Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Global Development
Fellowship 2026, applicants must:
- 
Be a current PhD student at a recognized university in an LMIC or LDC (Bangladesh is eligible). 
- 
Have completed at least 12 months of PhD study. 
- 
Secure a host supervisor at Imperial College London. 
- 
Obtain: - 
Letter of Support from the host supervisor (signed by Head of Department). 
- 
Letter of Recommendation from the home PhD supervisor. 
 
- 
- 
Have a research project that is ODA-compliant (benefiting developing countries). 
- 
Demonstrate English proficiency (either through a certificate or supervisor statement).
